Second Option

Start with a Seminar – Hire a licensed Omega Trainer to facilitate one of our seminars live and strategically sample our training and discipleship philosophy.

The several seminars that make up the Omega Experience are an excellent first step forward, as they provide training in one of the areas where Christians often need a deeper surrender to God. Stewarding our life from God’s perspective is an adventure into those areas of everyday experience where self-leadership has been the norm, and the experience is always an eye-opener. All of these seminars can be used as stand-alone seminars.

Choose from many of life’s arenas, including:

• Mentoring Connection Seminar (An Introduction to Biblical Mentoring),
• Creating a Connection Culture (Learn the secrets to biblical relationship excellence),
• U.N.I.T.Y. in Marriage (Christian marriage training),
• Empowered Servanthood (Spiritual Gifts),
• Making Cent$ (Biblical Financial Stewardship),
• C.O.R.E. Small Group L.E.A.D.E.R. Training Seminar (Covenant Small Group Leader Training). Training in the leadership of small groups, helping them develop into truly fruitful covenant groups, is a practical starting point, because small groups already exist with members who welcome a further step in effectiveness. This is a great way to move small group leadership to the next level.
• The Omega Mentor Training Seminar (Training people to mentor and coach others in their faith).

Third Option

Pilot the Omega Course – Purchase the Church Starter Kit and take a sample group of people through the course.
The cornerstone of the Omega Experience, which is the church-wide discipleship journey, is the 24-session Omega Course. Those familiar with the Alpha Course will notice the dinner-DVD-discussion format that makes this kind of experience interesting and enjoyable. The course aims at genuine transformation by clarifying God’s mission for your life and the ways in which you can submit every aspect of it to the guidance and power of God. Get together with a group of leaders and take the Omega Course together on DVD. We like to say you can’t give away something that you don’t have. Many churches have decided to take the Omega Experience because one of their members first took the course and then shared the transformational impact that the course had on their life with their church leadership.

Fourth Option

Church Consulting – Hire a LSN consultant to work with your leadership team.
A logical step toward church-wide transformation is to train the church's leadership team, both clergy and lay, so that the vision and the practicalities of discipleship training become well imbued in the church culture. Life Spring Network consults with and mentors church leadership teams about how to create a disciple-making church. We strive to craft a strategy that fits into your particular church situation. It is also possible to engage in a more structured consulting arrangement that includes live training and shepherding of your church through the Omega Experience over the two-year period. This can be done within the broad framework of consulting that enables churches to steward their organizations wisely under God.

Fifth Option

Leading the Omega Experience Conference - Send your leadership team to a Leading the Omega Experience Conference or host this conference at your church. Train your key leaders to live it and lead others through it. Host or attend a two-day Leading the Omega Experience Conference in your area for your key leaders who will serve as the primary mentors, small group leaders and ministry team coordinators during the Omega Experience. Over the course of this conference, you will be equipped to understand and implement the entire Omega Experience, from Creating a Connection Culture, mentor and small group leader training, Pre-Omega and Post-Omega church-wide seminars, to facilitating the church-wide Omega Course and everything in between.

During this conference, we will:

• Train your leaders how to effectively and efficiently lead an Omega Course, facilitate dynamic small groups and begin growing as transformational mentors.
• Train your leaders to understand the essentials of reproductive disciple-making through creating a connection culture and the establishment and growth of a mentoring network.
• Train, license and equip live trainers of the Omega Course

Sixth Option

Embracing the Omega Experience in Total – Taking your congregation through the two-year Omega Experience process.
Some churches make the decision that discipleship is truly a top priority and to embark on the entire church-wide Omega Experience.

This means

1. training your key leaders to live it and lead others through it;
2. preparing the soil and laying the strategic foundation;
3. starting a church-wide Omega Campaign, and
4. growing your mentoring network.

One advantage of this way of starting is that it holds the possibility of a church well networked with mentoring relationships and well prepared to receive new members and help them grow in Christ.
