Our vision in one sense is monumental. The church might be likened to a tremendous vessel that needs to be turned around, because its culture has been absorbed into the wider culture. In another sense, the vision for 2010 is very straightforward and incremental.

The most important part of achieving our vision will be to encourage and organize prayer support. It has been amply demonstrated in many Christian undertakings in the past that prayer support is not an optional extra. Where the prayers have been ongoing and quantitatively large in terms of people involved, many undertakings have succeeded beyond all expectation. By contrast, many Christian undertakings that depended on managerial expertise, money, technological prowess, or any other earthly resource without such determination to engage in systematic prayer have failed. It is only reasonable to assume that Life Spring Network is no exception. Part of the focus of that prayer must necessarily rest on the people involved in LSN at every level, because any endeavor to advance the kingdom of God will inevitably meet spiritual opposition. Our prayer, therefore, is that they will be empowered and protected by the Holy Spirit in all their endeavors and in particular those connected with LSN.
